I’ve been meaning to show you for a few weeks now what I have in my fountain pens at the moment. I’ve taken a photo to show you what I have in use.
I don’t think I like the J.Herbin Vert Pre. It’s too pale. The two blues though are my favourite inks, and are often in pens.
I packed away quite a few of my pens last year, as I decided it was silly to have so many pens inked up at one time, so now I only have three inked up. I’m all stream-lined!
What are you using at the moment?
Pen? Noodlers Konrad. Took me 6 weeks to get them to write, but now having smoothed it and resolved the gushing, I really like the pen, and at $20 it’s a bargain.
I am enjoying a range of Diamine inks at present:
Onyx Black in an Italix Parson’s Essential, M nib
Ancient Copper in a Chinese Baoer 508, M nib
Sapphire Blue in a Pelikan M200, F nib
Imperial Purple in a Kaigelu 338, M nib

In my workhorse Al-Star with 1.1mm italic I have Abraxas oak gall ink for FP.
In my new Lindauer 1.5 calig I have Koh-I-Noor FP black. And in the Orange Lamy Nexx there is Lamy Turquoise – more normally Waterman South Sea blue. Oh that has the 1.5 Callig nib on right now.
And in my Parker 25 I have Abraxas Mars which is a gorgeous reddish orange.
And for black lines and sketching I am using the Ohto graphic liners set from .2 mm to 1.5 mm
