As well as reorganising my filing recently, I’ve also sorted out my collection of unused notebooks.  These notebooks have yet to find their reason for being, but it’s ok – they’ll be used eventually.  I’ve put the whole collection on one shelf to keep it tidy (although after doing this I found two empty notebooks that don’t fit on that shelf!).

Unused notebooks

As you can see, I have a problem!  I seriously need to stop buying notebooks.

I’m not going to photograph them each individually, but if you’d like to know more about any, let me know.  In the pile at the top, from top to base, we have:

  • 2 x spiral bound cardboard notebooks (a discontinued WHSmith line)
  • a red Writersblok notebook
  • a Moleskine storyboard notebook
  • a Paperchase e-co cahier (A6)
  • a Pacman moleskine
  • A yellow rite-in-the-rain all weather notebook
  • A leather journal
  • a Paperblanks notebook

Standing upright, from left to right, we have:

  • a Paperchase e-co cahier (A5)
  • a random leather journal (from TK Maxx)
  • a spiral bound Clairefontaine notebook
  • a spiral bound Oscar Wilde notebook
  • 2 x Clairefontaine cahiers
  • a Cavallini map of the world notebook
  • a peacock Liberty notebook
  • a blue and gold notebook (from Tesco)
  • a museum notebook (the first black spine)
  • a Moleskine
  • a National Geographic notebook
  • a Moleskine cahier
  • 4 x dot webbies!

The three notebooks slotted on the left are random ones.

Missing from this photo are the two notebooks I found later; a Paperblanks notebook and a handmade sketchbook I keep meaning to review.

So, that’s my current unused collection!  I don’t think I really need to buy a notebook for the next 10 years (I probably will do though!).

How many unused notebooks do you have?
